Autism and Asperger's Syndrome are often mistakenly treated as a disease that requires some kind of a "cure" ... as if there's something wrong with being unique. All we "require" is a better understanding and compassion. NO "treatment" plan should deny a child's fundamental rights and dignity as a person.
